1. Old Fire Suspect ‘Secured’ - May 25,
2008
A person of interest has been identified as a possible
suspect in the deadly 2003 Old Fire, and is currently “secure,” according to
Lieutenant Rick Ells of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. “There
is a suspect named in the investigation who is being reviewed,” Lt. Ells told
the Mountain-News on Monday morning.
[Editor's Note: Today (6/5/08) I called the
Sherriff's department on this myself and they said this story was taken out of
context and that there has been no one named to date. I only send this link out
as informational]

2 . Inland area has its own
mini-tornado alley - Friday, May 23, 2008
The Inland
area doesn't look a whole lot like Kansas or Oklahoma, but the same atmospheric
conditions that create devastating tornadoes in those states came together to
cause Thursday's tornadoes near Moreno
Valley.
