Subject: Weekly Update
We hope
you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! We will not be meeting this coming
weekend, but we will meet again on Sunday Dec 5 and Sunday Dec 12.
Although George & Pat will not be there on Dec
5 (they are going back east for Thanksgiving and stopping in Florida on the way
home), we have special speakers planned for that day. This past week we
had two members of the AIA there who went over what a set of floor plans looks
like and a bit about the building permit process. This next week we are
working on getting someone there who can talk about fire-safe and water-wise
landscaping.
On Dec 12 we will be having a former president of
the local chapter of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) there who
will start a "basics of interior design" series.
We hope to start these people (or someone similar)
for a series for the next 6 months where they will come regularly and answer any
questions we have regarding their expertise!
