Subject: Weekly update

Here is our weekly update!  Hope it finds you well!  Remember that if you have concerns about flooding in your area you can call Ted Golondzinier of San Bernardino County Flood Control 387-7919 or Lynn Merrill Director of Public Services of San Bernardino City Public Works 384-5111.  Both of these gentlemen were at our Debris Flow Information meeting and offered their phone numbers to us!

Thank you to everyone who brought snacks this past Sunday!  It was a nice change... especially the ice cream!!!

Well, on Sunday Senator Longville was there to give a presentation thanking George and Pat for all of their long hard service!  Thank you George and Pat.  And thank you Claudia for initiating the entire thing!

If anyone took pictures of this weekend, can you please share them with us?  I somehow forgot to bring a camera this past weekend.

There has been lots of news activity regarding the one year anniversary of the fire.  In case you missed any of it, you can go to www.pe.com, www.signonsandiego.com, www.latimes.com or even www.sbsun.com and do a search for "old fire".  Honestly, I can't even post it all here!

Here are is one about Saturday's picnic from the Press Enterprise

Here is a link to one article in The Sun.  On the right are links to related articles.  If this link doesn't work, go to www.sbsun.com and search for "old fire".
