This Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 7:00PM the Old Fire Recovery Group will be hosting a Post-Fire Debris Flow information meeting.  This meeting will be held at the First Congregational Church located at 3041 Sierra Way and is open to the public

Confirmed speakers for this meeting include Lynn Merrill - City Public Works, Ted Golondzinier - County Flood Control, Susan Lien & Wendy McCammack - City Councilpersons Doug Hamilton - Debris Flow Engineer.

The Old Fire Recovery Group is a team of survivors from the Old Fire who are organizing as a project of Community Partners.  We outreach to other fire survivors who have sustained damage from the fire as well as critical public officials and other burn-area residents of the San Bernardino Valley who want to be involved in community recovery and rebuilding effort who can aid in the recovery effort.  We gather information to disseminate to fire victims at our weekly meetings and invite experts to our meetings to do the same.

Our weekly meetings are every Sunday at 2:00PM at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 3701 Sierra Way.
